Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for all aspects of education, care, and triage for patients with implanted devices
Interrogation of an implanted device
Patient education regarding device function
Interpretation of cardiac waveforms in relation to implanted device (remote monitoring)
Resources for providers and staff regarding implanted device
Perform Pacerlink Checks on Implanted Devices
Troubleshoot devices / Interrogations to determine feasibility of currently implanted device
Communicate to all team members and provide feedback to providers
Manage Device clinic worklist
Interdisciplinary Team Member with EP Ambulatory RN's for consistency in patient care

Requirements

What you’ll need

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) within 18 months - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) within 18 months - International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE)
Associate's Degree: Nursing or Associate's Degree: Sonography
Related field 3+ years
