About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for all aspects of education, care, and triage for patients with implanted devices
- Interrogation of an implanted device
- Patient education regarding device function
- Interpretation of cardiac waveforms in relation to implanted device (remote monitoring)
- Resources for providers and staff regarding implanted device
- Perform Pacerlink Checks on Implanted Devices
- Troubleshoot devices / Interrogations to determine feasibility of currently implanted device
- Communicate to all team members and provide feedback to providers
- Manage Device clinic worklist
- Interdisciplinary Team Member with EP Ambulatory RN's for consistency in patient care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) within 18 months - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) within 18 months - International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE)
- Associate's Degree: Nursing or Associate's Degree: Sonography
- Related field 3+ years
