About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and direct the daily operation of assigned areas and staff
- Develop and foster collaboration among clinical departments and affiliated services
- Ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to providing Imaging services
- Provide resolution of customer complaints or problems
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to resolve problems
- Provide advice concerning technical procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Assume responsibility for personnel related duties that include interviewing, disciplinary actions, payroll reporting, scheduling paid leave, and enforcing required rules and regulations
- Monitor employee performance
- Ensure timely communications for goal setting, performance evaluations, wages increases and continued personnel actions
- Ensure all employees are properly oriented, trained, and that annual competencies, certifications, and licensure and education requirements are current
- Ensure that all personnel are properly trained on equipment and competent in its use
- Develop budget recommendations and monitor budget activities
- Manage Nursing, Scheduling, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging Professionals
- Oversee operational budget for: Nursing, Scheduling, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging Professionals
- Oversee capital equipment purchases for: Nursing, Scheduling, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging Professional
- Develop best practices with radiologists and interdisciplinary assistance for: Nursing, Scheduling, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging Professionals
- Monitor quality for Nursing, Scheduling, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging Professionals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Registered in Radiography (R) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine or Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography
- Associate's Degree: Related Field or Certificate of Completion: Related Field
- 2 years related field experience
