About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- plans and conducts library and literature searches
- assists in acquiring and analyzing data from biomedical imaging studies
- regularly consults with Principal Investigator on progress
- conducts activities according to ethical and scientific standards
- may contribute sections of manuscripts as secondary author
- may present findings and/or participate in professional development programs at local or regional conferences
- participates in scientific collaborative activities with other investigators
- analyzes imaging or spectroscopy data per requirements of principal investigator
- writes final progress report at end of employment period
- stores data and computer codes per requirements of principal investigator
Requirements
What you’ll need- enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering or biomedical science discipline
- completed coursework in Calculus and linear algebra
- experienced with scientific programming
- outstanding work habits and organizational skills
