About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assists therapist with patient care – vitals, transfers, exercises, testing
- Responsible for the safety of patients while assisting the therapists with delegated tasks
- Responsible for correct timing of certain treatments and executing assigned routine treatments
- Responsible for cleanliness of working area and equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree: Related Field; H.S. Diploma/GED
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Must be able to instruct and demonstrate exercises
- Must be able to stand to exercise patient approximately 75% of working hours
- Must be able to assist in transferring of patients
- Must be able to document accurately treatment rendered
- Cleaning and organizing duties
- Light maintenance tasks
- Assist with data management
- Assist scheduling and insurance desk duties
