About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Performs formal psychological assessment with patients under the direction of a licensed Psychologist
- Communicates assessment process to patients and family members
- Structures the assessments to adapt to patient needs and maintain accurate results
- Administers and scores various advanced psychological assessments to patients from infant to geriatric
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree Related Field Or Master's Degree
- Certified Specialist in Psychometry (CSP) within 2 years - Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP)
- Psychometrist 1+ years experience
- Necessary skills to give batteries of tests to a wide variety of individuals of all ages and abilities
- Good judgment in situations that will bring out the best performance in individuals
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare providers
- Self-motivating, highly enthusiastic, well organized and flexible in hours as necessary.
