About the role

  • Contributing to and leading the implementation of regional strategies that include diverse and impactful portfolios
  • Manage your direct team, including offices based overseas, to ensure programs standards and accountabilities are adhered to
  • Overseeing the financial and risk management and operations of programs within your designated region – Asia or Pacific and Africa
  • Managing budget planning and forecasting including supporting the Associate Director on budget management throughout the year
  • Proactively seeking new resources and opportunities for your designated regions portfolio – Asia or Pacific and Africa

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications or higher in International Development, Social Sciences or equivalent
  • Certificate IV or higher in Leadership and Management or equivalent
  • 5+ Years of experience managing complex development programs in complex operational environments, either in Asia or the Pacific and Africa region
  • Proven team management with large and complex teams including management of overseas staff
  • Financial management including budget development in overseas development programs
