About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the Caris Detect social media strategy and presence across all priority channels
  • Develop and manage the social media editorial calendar with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Create, publish, optimize, and analyze social media content
  • Partner with Creative and Digital Marketing on integrated campaigns, product launches, and brand strategy
  • Develop and execute executive social media strategies
  • Build and execute integrated influencer, ambassador, and creator programs
  • Identify, recruit, develop, and manage relationships with creators, ambassadors, healthcare professionals, wellness experts, patient advocates, celebrity partners, and other trusted voices
  • Partner with the Caris Life Sciences Patient Advocacy team on patient advocacy, education, and community engagement efforts
  • Direct agency partners and external collaborators, reviewing and approving content and campaigns
  • Identify audience insights, influential voices, online communities, customer behaviors, and cultural trends
  • Monitor brand sentiment, competitive activity, and customer conversations
  • Evaluate emerging platforms, technologies, social media capabilities, and digital engagement trends
  • Establish measurement frameworks, KPIs, and reporting processes connecting initiatives to business outcomes
  • Analyze campaign, audience, influencer, and channel performance to optimize programs
  • Develop recommendations based on performance data and audience insights
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Care, Corporate Communications, Creative, Legal, Regulatory, and other teams
  • Communicate performance, market insights, trends, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Report to the Vice President, Marketing – Caris Detect
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Ten or more years of progressive experience leading social media, influencer marketing, brand marketing, digital engagement, or community-building initiatives, preferably within healthcare, diagnostics, biotechnology, medical devices, consumer health, wellness, or similarly complex industries
  • Demonstrated success building high-performing social media channels, influencer programs, ambassador initiatives, and community engagement strategies that drive measurable business results
  • Strong understanding of how modern consumer brands build trust, community, and cultural relevance through social media, creators, influencers, and digital engagement
  • Experience managing external agencies, creators, influencers, talent partnerships, and strategic collaborators
  • Exceptional written communication, storytelling, editorial, and content development skills
  • Strong analytical skills with experience measuring campaign performance and translating data into actionable business insights
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Hands-on, execution-oriented leadership with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for building new capabilities and continuously improving performance
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to spend the majority of the workday using a computer and computer monitor
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions, including keyboard and mouse use
  • Adequate hearing and visual acuity to perform the essential functions of the position
  • Successful completion of pre-employment process, including criminal background check, drug screening, credit check (applicable for certain positions), and reference verification
