About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Directly manage a team of genetic counselors and/or nurse navigators delivering patient-facing services
Provide day-to-day oversight, coaching, and mentorship to drive high performance and development
Conduct performance reviews, monitor key metrics, and support hiring and onboarding activities
Foster a culture of empathy, accountability, and clinical excellence aligned to a patient-first philosophy
Provide pre- and post-test education related to MCED testing
Ensure accurate, empathetic, and consistent patient counseling across all interactions
Support escalated or complex patient cases
Oversee coordination of patient care pathways
Ensure continuity of care and timely follow-up
Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Product, and Commercial teams
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical SOPs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Clinical background (Genetic Counselor, RN, or equivalent)
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
5–8+ years of relevant experience
2–5 years leadership experience
Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare system
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
