About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the development, implementation, and adoption of the training program within Caris Life Sciences
- Report to the Senior Director of Commercial Education and work closely with the Commercial Education Team, Sales Leadership Team, Marketing, and field-based personnel
- Responsible for all content creation and updating relating to new products and updated product features
- Act as a liaison for the Commercial Education team and the Marketing team, ensuring the sales team is educated on new products, features, and messaging
- Develop, manage, and deploy core curriculum for new hires and continuous training for existing sales team
- Design and facilitate training classes as necessary
- Regularly assess performance of the commercial team and identify training needs and competency gaps
- Organize, lead, and present virtual and in-person trainings when requested
- Field travel with members of the commercial team to learn about challenges that can be supported by training and provide coaching feedback
- Create clear, well-written communications and training documents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Training and development experience in a biotech or healthcare related field
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in healthcare related field
- Experience successfully coaching others
- Proven ability to effectively present to small and large audiences
- Must be a self-starter requiring little supervision
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Proficient computer skills, which must include: Learning Management System course and curriculum creation, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 25%
