About the role
- Defining the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for early cancer detection products
- Develop branding and the persona of early detection products
- Leading and mentoring cross-functional product development teams
- Conducting thorough market research and translating insights into actionable product features
- Collaborating effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring all product development activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Developing direct-to-consumer strategies that drive patient awareness and action
- Partnering with patient advocacy organizations to build collaborative relationships
- Envisioning the future of early cancer detection and identifying new opportunities
- A strong understanding of relevant scientific principles and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of marketing/commercialization experience
- Early Detection in Cancer experience a plus
- Experience in marketing Oncology Laboratory Developed Tests and bringing new products to market
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with thought leaders in the field
- Understanding experience in direct-to-consumer marketing
- Experience in collaborating with external vendors to drive outcomes
- Excellent strategic and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work across all levels in the organization to drive projects to completion
- Must be well organized and can meet deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- Must be a strategic problem-solver, and influencer with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Establishes credibility with intellectually demanding audiences; Demonstrates confidence and commitment to effectively influence and lead; excellent spokesperson possessing strong oral and written communications skills.
- Must be an agile, innovative, self-reliant and creative strategist with a desire to make a broader impact and inspire transformation.
