About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform Epic application system analysis and design, including requirements, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation
  • Provide application support, troubleshooting, training, and reporting
  • Support integrated third-party applications
  • Serve as a liaison between TSG groups, clients, and vendors
  • Conduct foundational to intermediate analysis of Epic application design
  • Plan implementations and optimize application use
  • Resolve issues with minimal to moderate supervision, track issues, and provide updates
  • Manage assigned tasks and support project work while meeting deadlines
  • Participate in requirements gathering and assist in design sessions
  • Analyze client business needs with direction from senior analysts
  • Develop documentation and reference materials
  • Develop working knowledge of assigned Epic modules and system integrations
  • Adhere to application change management processes
  • Track work effort, including time, tasks, incidents, and enhancements
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, peers, and leadership in a matrixed environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business, or minimum of 2 years may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Obtain and maintain a minimum of 2 vendor and/or industry certifications/proficiencies as determined by management
  • Maintain a certification/proficiency in an applicable Epic module
  • Self-initiated team player able to work under minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Flexibility to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with clients and vendors
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and understand bimodal work principles
  • Flexibility beyond standard hours, including after-hours on-call rotation
  • Occasional travel
