About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform selected physical therapy procedures under the direction of a licensed physical therapist
Provide patient care based on therapist evaluation and plan of care
Implement treatment programs and assist with changes in treatment goals
Coordinate patient care and clinical activities through written and verbal communication with patients, families, therapists, Clinical Team Leaders, managers, and other healthcare team members
Document in patient medical records and complete patient-care-related forms in compliance with regulatory agencies and department/hospital policies
Collaborate with support staff, volunteers, and students to achieve efficient clinical activity and quality patient care
Provide patient treatments at the CFMH hospital clinic and the Westlake clinic

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
No experience required
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Effective interpersonal, communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
Outpatient experience and knowledge a plus
