Accounting Officer, A/P
cargo-partnerAccounting Officer handling accounts payable tasks in logistics provider cargo-partner. Collaborating with the operation team to ensure accurate financial transactions and reports.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Daily provide cheque and fund transferring as request by operation department payment to supplier
- Handling clearing AP open item once payment done.
- Transfer purchase Vat suspense to Vat main.
- Transfer fund to Petty Cash account of each branch and KTB bank account for KTB logistics Card
- Issue withholding tax certificate to vendor.
- Checking purchase Vat report before submitting to Tax Authority.
- Submit the Cargo Sale report with IATA
- Send the Cargo Sale report and receipt to Counter Party
- Monitoring Duty Stamp
- Bank reconciliation in each currency.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- To take up additional assignments/tasks as required meeting with the Company needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- At least 1 years’ experience in Finance preferred in Freight forwarding Logistics.
- Knowledge of Accounting payable
- Accounting balance knowledge desirable
- Financial and business administration knowledge
- Cargo wise One know-how in related functions.
- Being Responsible and very structured Personality
- Being Assertiveness, Motivating and Self-Motivating
- Strong analytical Skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Basic English for email communication
