About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new customer accounts
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners
  • Promote Cargo-Partner’s international freight forwarding solutions
  • Prepare competitive quotations for air and ocean freight shipments
  • Coordinate closely with operations, pricing and product management teams
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity
  • Conduct regular client visits and business development activities
  • Achieve sales targets while maintaining profitable business margins

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in Freight forwarding, Logistics, International transportation
  • Solid understanding of Air and Ocean freight forwarding operations
  • Knowledge of Import and Export processes
  • Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and international trade procedures
  • Familiarity with customs clearance procedures in Mexico
  • Established professional network within industrial corridors in the Bajío region
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms)
  • Fluent Spanish (native level)
  • Advanced English (required for communication with international clients and agents)
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the Bajío region
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Own vehicle is required for daily business activities
