About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide nutrition recommendations and support to customers during and after product sales
- Consult directly with dairy farmers and their employees
- Set performance goals that align with the territory and dairy leadership team objectives
- Help identify potential customers and manage existing customer relationships
- Monitor customer and competitor activity, as well as industry trends
- Protect, grow, and diversify relationships with targeted customers
- Participate in team and leadership meetings with dairy producers and mills
- Support team members through mentorship and training opportunities
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Dairy, feed, animal nutrition and health industry experience
- Able and willing to travel up to 70% to visit dairy farms daily
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
