About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide basic knowledge of pricing and contracting activities
- Assist in the coordination of process implementations and governance across contracts, pricing, and contracted volume and futures
- Assist with master data stewardship, contract settlement, and communications with sales account managers, strategic pricing, and customers
- Support various business segments, including products such as edible oils, sweeteners, cocoa, protein, and salt
- Handle contract pricing requests based on customer supply agreements and spot market prices
- Validate contract performance
- Assist with new customer set up processes and validate customer master data
- Assist with contract alignment to customer sales orders
- Handle the less complex customer sample process
- Develop knowledge of contract management processes to identify improvement opportunities
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience ensuring data in internal systems is accurate and up to date
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in complex multinational or matrixed organization (preferred)
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system (preferred)
- SAP experience (preferred)
- Ability to effectively represent the business from a commercial perspective to customers
