About the role
- Supporting merchants by assisting in the execution of rail contracts including rail application, rail billing, contract administration, contract pricing, and customer service
- Coordinating closely with accounting teams to ensure timely contract application and settlement of trains
- Key contact for customer questions regarding contract maintenance
- Independently solving moderately complex issues with minimal supervision
- Providing backup for the rest of the trading support team as needed
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned and handling special projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or minimum of two years of related work experience
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle fast-paced work environment
- Detail orientation and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and prioritize
- Excellent follow-up skills
- Strong computer skills; intermediate level or above in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
