About the role
- Perform and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in production facilities or equipment
- Ensure all electrical assets are maintained in a safe condition
- Execute preventive maintenance plans
- Perform full industrial electrical work — preventive, predictive, and corrective — across the facility
- Operate standard maintenance tools, such as electrical power tools and preventive maintenance technology tools
- Install and troubleshoot wiring system layouts and circuit routing
- Interpret and understand electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings, and operation manuals
- Document completed work and observed conditions using maintenance management software
- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts
Requirements
- Technical certification or diploma in electrotechnics, electromechanics, automation, or a related field
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to read electrical diagrams and interpret engineering drawings
- Previous experience in the role
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Knowledge and experience with medium- and high-voltage systems
- Experience with instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, and level) is desirable
- Familiarity with soft starters and variable frequency drives (inverters), and Rockwell and Siemens systems
