About the role

  • Complete routine analytical and laboratory tests in support of food safety quality
  • Perform routine quantitative and qualitative inspections
  • Ensure compliance programs for all individual assays
  • Interpret and document test results
  • Carry out calibration checks and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Promote food safety, quality, and a regulatory compliance culture

Requirements

  • Technical high school diploma or technical/undergraduate degree in Chemistry or related fields
  • Active CRQ registration (Regional Chemistry Council)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Availability to work a 6x2 schedule with rotating shifts
  • Experience working in a laboratory preferred
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 desirable
