About the role
- Designs, builds and maintains complex data products
- Ensures large sets of data are efficiently processed for trading decision making
- Prepares data infrastructure for efficient storage and retrieval of data
- Examines and resolves appropriate data formats for improved data usability and accessibility
- Develops complex data products and solutions using advanced engineering and cloud-based technologies
- Develops and maintains streaming and batch data pipelines from various data sources
- Reviews existing data systems and architectures for improvement and optimization
- Collaborates with multi-functional data and advanced analytic teams to meet requirements
- Builds complex prototypes to test new concepts and implements data engineering frameworks
- Develops automated deployment pipelines for code efficiency
- Performs complex data modeling as per datastore technology requirements
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Expertise in Oracle PL SQL for managing an existing application back-end
- Strong in SQL and Python with Snowflake platform experience
- Understanding of KAFKA, DBT, Airflow and Astronomer will be beneficial
- Prior experience working with trading related data would also be beneficial.
