About the role

  • Acts as the single technical owner for the CRR platform
  • Leads the design and implementation of SQL-based risk logic
  • Provides technical leadership across SQL developers, data engineers, and full stack engineers
  • Ensures consistency and correctness of positions, exposures, pricing, and P&L outputs
  • Guides and reviews architectural decisions across database, data ingestion pipelines, OpenSearch, and .NET/React-based UI and API layers
  • Partners closely with the Senior Business Analyst and Domain Modeler
  • Identifies, assesses, and proactively manages technical risks
  • Supports release planning, cutovers, and production readiness

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-stream engineering solutions
  • Strong experience delivering trading or risk platforms, preferably in commodities or capital markets environments
  • Expert-level SQL development and performance optimization
  • Strong understanding of relational data modeling, data layers, and lineage
  • Proven experience implementing complex risk or analytical logic in database-centric platforms
  • Ability to reason across data ingestion, transformation, API, and UI consumption layers
  • Strong system design skills spanning databases, services, and reporting interfaces
