About the role
- Acts as the single technical owner for the CRR platform
- Leads the design and implementation of SQL-based risk logic
- Provides technical leadership across SQL developers, data engineers, and full stack engineers
- Ensures consistency and correctness of positions, exposures, pricing, and P&L outputs
- Guides and reviews architectural decisions across database, data ingestion pipelines, OpenSearch, and .NET/React-based UI and API layers
- Partners closely with the Senior Business Analyst and Domain Modeler
- Identifies, assesses, and proactively manages technical risks
- Supports release planning, cutovers, and production readiness
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of 10 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-stream engineering solutions
- Strong experience delivering trading or risk platforms, preferably in commodities or capital markets environments
- Expert-level SQL development and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of relational data modeling, data layers, and lineage
- Proven experience implementing complex risk or analytical logic in database-centric platforms
- Ability to reason across data ingestion, transformation, API, and UI consumption layers
- Strong system design skills spanning databases, services, and reporting interfaces
