About the role
- Reviewing marine insurance claims and determine the applicable insurance cover
- Assess supporting documentation, and provide recommendations on reserve amounts
- Coordinating inspections of relevant sites and provide guidance on loss mitigation actions
- Reviewing insurance provisions in supplier and customer contracts for compliance with company requirements
- Perform or oversee the maintenance of marine program location data within the declaration and tracking system
- Manage or oversee certain marine insurance declarations and other tasks as requested from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience
- Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience
- Insurance, in particular marine insurance, experience strongly preferred
- Experience handling marine insurance claims is a plus
