About the role
- Support all Food EMEA businesses by driving packaging innovation, cost efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)
- Collaborate with suppliers, R&D, commercial teams and global partners to implement new packaging solutions.
- Define packaging specifications based on product requirements, cost considerations, legal standards and protection needs.
- Conduct experiments on various materials in a specialized laboratory setting.
- Prepare cost estimates and deliver packaging laboratory services for development projects, package qualification, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated relevant work experience and knowledge of technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts in packaging (e.g. bottling / IBC / bags)
- Experience coordinating projects involving packaging design and implementation
- Familiarity with preparing cost estimates and supporting packaging laboratory services for development projects and package qualification
