About the role
- Interpret applicable regulations for products, as well as for processes, practices and procedures
- Lead internal and external collaboration across regulatory functions and European trade associations
- Ensure a clear understanding of and compliance with EU food safety regulatory requirements
- Assess regulatory risks and opportunities and influence changes
- Facilitate the implementation of regulatory compliance processes
- Collaborate with local regulatory teams, notably in France and Spain
Requirements
- Master’s degree in science, preferably in animal sciences, biological sciences, or equivalent experience
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory affairs (animal feed, raw materials and additives)
- Minimum 6 years of relevant technical experience
- Experience collaborating with trade associations, with a strong focus on the French and Spanish markets, and expertise in the US and Chinese markets
- Experience with registration processes
- PhD holder (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of operations and classification of chemical hazards (preferred)
- Intermediate knowledge of French, Spanish, US and Chinese regulations on feed additives (preferred)
- Intermediate knowledge of feed processing and/or formulation (preferred)
- 3 years of management experience (preferred)
- Fluent English and proficiency in French or Spanish
