About the role
- Assist in the execution of routine operations for the assigned area and ensure that reports comply with policies and procedures related to employee safety and food safety.
- Monitor risks associated with products and ensure that product quality meets customer specifications.
- Maintain adherence to the company's safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure the safety of employees and the product at all times by completing required training according to task procedures and individual needs.
- Supervise production workers and participate in the selection process; manage employee welfare, performance reviews and engagement; identify training gaps and needs, and handle performance and absence management.
- Identify risks and recommend areas for improvement and innovation.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision while escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in soybean oil extraction processes using hexane
- Technical diploma in industrial areas or a degree in Engineering (Production, Mechanical, Chemical, or related fields)
- Full availability to work rotating shifts
- Experience leading operational teams is desirable
