About the role
- Lead, coach and develop a team to execute the business plan that meets business goals
- Partner with Go-To-Market and category team, and marketing team to identify and execute Innovation projects
- Manage R&D budget and monitor R&D performance with set targets and metrics
- Lead the application center and ensure a safe working environment, food safety compliance, and a motivated R&D team
- Develop strong customer relationships and innovation opportunities for strategic accounts with Go To Market team
- Collaborate with commercial leaders to support business growth in priority segmentation
- Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business and/or regulatory environment while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field and equivalent experience
- Minimum of ten years of related work experience
- Fundamental understanding of functionality of food ingredients, such as edible oils, proteins, carbohydrates, in food system
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical services, applications or a similar discipline in B2B food business
- Experience leading a technical team with staff from multiple locations and disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and trust through technical knowledge and expertise
- Three years of supervisory experience
