About the role
- Evaluate, select, and foster ongoing relationships with external transportation providers.
- Based on working knowledge of the transportation and logistics sector, provide recommendations to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Provide distribution, transportation, and logistics solutions for inbound and outbound movement of raw materials and/or finished products from origin to destination.
- Perform data entry updates using spreadsheets and databases based on sales orders/contracts, etc., providing data to more senior team members for further analysis.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and carriers to ensure required scheduling for inputs.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex matters to the appropriate team.
Requirements
- Experience in logistics
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Experience in the inputs/supplies area is a plus
- Availability to work on-site in Primavera do Leste, MT
