About the role
- Performs moderately complex activities to ensure global funding needs are met, including trade confirmations, settlements, reconciliations and collation of regional funding positions.
- Applies general industry knowledge and collaborates with internal partners to resolve funding issues in support of organizational activities.
- Collaborates with banks, brokers, and other internal and external counterparties to support issue resolution.
- Implements initiatives to enhance the treasury's systems and processes to support organizational objectives and drive continuous improvement, such as implementing new funding and trade structures.
- Documents and reviews treasury activities to ensure compliance with internal control standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in English for business communication, including the ability to prepare clear reports and collaborate effectively across regions.
- Foundation in finance and accounting principles with the ability to apply them to cash management and funding activities.
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting, including interpreting complex data to support decision-making.
- Familiarity with financial systems and tools commonly used for treasury or accounting functions.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to financial transactions and internal controls.
- Ability to identify process improvements and contribute to efficiency in financial operations.
