About the role
- Provide specialized knowledge of quality systems or plant processes
- Conduct verification and maintenance of food safety and quality systems
- Ensure adherence to corporate, regulatory, customer and facility requirements
- Lead food safety focused audits
- Manage compliance to government regulations
- Investigate food safety incidents and ensure corrective actions are taken
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English
- Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office experience
- Experience with the Food Safety System Certification 22000
- Experience working with SAP or similar
- Knowledge of food/feed safety industry practices and standards
- Minimum two years of work experience in the animal food and/or feed industry
