About the role
- Support a core technology component area for the Food business
- Drive and support the research group in a given implementation of business defined technology needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal partners to build and grow businesses
- Interact with consumers and customers to develop meaningful insights
- Ensure projects proceed according to plan and results are documented
- Lead new product or high-performance innovation efforts
- Identify and lead evaluations of external process or manufacturing technologies or facilities
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to a subordinate group
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in process technologies and engineering principles relevant to process development and scale-up
- Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
- Engineering degree and/or Master's degree (preferred)
- Protein development experience (preferred)
- Ability to adapt and learn in a changing environment (preferred)
- Experience in developing, leading, and participating in multidisciplinary teams (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in new food process development (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process improvement or optimization efforts (preferred)
