About the role
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in Solar and Evaporation manufacturing technology areas
- Help optimize performance of existing assets
- Partner with site operations and engineering teams
- Drive efficient and safe performance of each unit operation
- Performance monitoring and process improvements
- Support training and development for salt manufacturing technologies
- Assess technical performance of assets to identify gaps and solutions
- Provide oversight into the implementation of improvement projects
- Guide technical design of systems and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Project or initiative management experience
- Experience in multiple domains such as engineering, production, reliability and capital excellence, research and development and operations management
- 3 years of experience with related solar or evaporation manufacturing technology
- 5+ years of experience with related solar or evaporation manufacturing technology (Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent (Preferred)
- Experience working in operations within chemical, food or processing environments (Preferred)
- Proficient in data analysis and analytics (Preferred)
- Ability to be located at a salt production facility (Preferred)
