About the role
- designs, builds and maintains moderately complex data systems
- collaborates to ensure that large sets of data are efficiently processed
- develops moderately complex data products and solutions using advanced data engineering and cloud based technologies
- maintains and supports the development of streaming and batch data pipelines
- reviews existing data systems and architectures to implement identified areas for improvement
- prepares data infrastructure to support efficient storage and retrieval of data
- partners with multi-functional data and advanced analytic teams to collect requirements
- builds moderately complex prototypes to test new concepts
- implements automated deployment pipelines to improve efficiency of code deployments
- performs moderately complex data modeling
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience
- Experience with Python
- Experience with AWS and/or Hadoop
