About the role
- Overall responsibility for leading, coordinating and evaluating the Electrical Engineering department
- Operation and maintenance of electrical installations: 20 kV medium-voltage switchgear, including 20 kV/690 V/400 V transformer station
- Low-voltage switchgear 690 V/400 V
- Co-supervision of 4 MW CHP (combined heat and power), including 10 kV/20 kV transformer station
- Motor control centers up to 500 kW, 400 V/690 V
- ATEX-rated installations (gas/dust)
- Process automation systems and field instrumentation
- Auxiliary systems: emergency power, UPS, emergency lighting, lighting systems, radiation protection, lightning protection
- Communication and video systems
- Point of contact for utility providers (electricity, gas, water) and authorities
- Energy billing and energy management
- Facility management
- Project work and procurement
- Personnel responsibility and leadership of the electricians team and the Plant IT/Automation coordinator
- Coordination of external personnel (electrical planners, programmers, electrical fitters/technicians)
- Creation of shift, on-call and vacation schedules
- Organization of PPE, training, qualification and instruction
- Work planning and organization
Requirements
- Completed degree, technician qualification or master craftsman certificate in a relevant field of electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology
- Several years of professional experience in the listed main tasks including staff management
- Good German and English skills for daily work
- Advanced project management skills
- Experience in planning and construction of electrical systems (power supply, lighting, signaling)
- Experience with PLC programming
- Understanding of process engineering processes
- Willingness to assume the VEFK function
- SAP knowledge
