About the role
- Execute preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on all industrial equipment.
- Participate in planning and scheduling activities.
- Perform mechanical inspections and preventive maintenance, coordinating machine shutdowns according to Cargill's Maintenance Plan.
- Interact with operators to identify each machine's operating status (abnormal noises, temperatures outside normal range, potential product quality issues, sluggishness, etc.).
- Perform disassemblies when necessary to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Carry out occasional corrective maintenance on operational/production equipment according to work orders and their respective priority.
- Arrange equipment lockout and carry out necessary interventions such as disassembly for analysis and repair of parts, components and mechanical accessories, part replacement, adjustments, lubrication, etc.
- Assist in the startup of new equipment or in customization of existing equipment performed by third-party companies.
Requirements
- Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics.
- Previous experience in the role.
- Experience in vibration analysis – predictive maintenance.
- Basic welding skills.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
- Willingness to travel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP (PM module).
