About the role
- Responsible for carrying out refinery production activities and loading syrups, complying with safety, food safety and good manufacturing practices.
- Cleaning and organizing the Refinery area;
- Perform production activities and less complex maintenance tasks in the refinery and syrup loading, following food safety procedures, good manufacturing practices, safety and established procedures;
- Control the process according to quality and safety standards, performing analyses during process stages, completing specific records and appropriately communicating actions taken to the team and peers, monitoring performance indicators and ensuring the quality of processes and products;
- Collect samples for COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) analysis to monitor condensate and generated effluent;
- Ensure process control to deliver daily KPIs within target;
- Assist the Modhouse and Filling departments by performing operators' tasks in those areas when necessary;
- Provide the shift leader/foreman and area supervisor with process and laboratory information to support appropriate decision-making;
- Record shift results and incidents in the daily production report and in process control spreadsheets (manual and system-based).
Requirements
- High school diploma (complete);
- Availability to rotate through work shifts (1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts), including weekends;
- Experience in a production environment preferred.
