About the role
- Drive and support Animal Nutrition and Health business objectives
- Lead the development of strategic new products and solutions
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders
- Foster strategic disruptive ideas
- Provide expert resources for development projects
- Provide leadership in research ecosystem
- Build effective scientific key thought leadership
- Collaborate with other business leaders for strategies and compliance
- Create and maintain the budget and expenses for the team
- Support the Strategic Marketing and Technology Innovation engine
Requirements
- Master’s degree in animal science, veterinary and related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of eight years of related work experience in animal nutrition or health with focus on swine or poultry, five years of supervisory experience
- Fluent in English
- Open to travel 25-30%
- PhD degree in animal science, veterinary or related field preferred
- 15 years research and development work in animal nutrition or health,
- At least 8 years of supervisory experience
- Experience leading the development of a network of external alliances
- Curiosity and interest to work in a global and multicultural environment
