About the role
- Apply engineering techniques to support the improvement of processes and product manufacturing
- Provide technical support, operational expertise, continuous improvement, and management of KPIs to ensure the plant operates safely, efficiently, stably, and with competitive costs
- Monitor and manage area performance indicators, proposing initiatives and improvement projects
- Review and recommend manufacturing equipment and processes designed to be efficient, cost-effective, and to promote quality and reliability
- Evaluate current manufacturing equipment and processes and make recommendations for changes
- Implement improvements to the plant’s operational systems to ensure stability and efficiency of production channels
- Independently resolve moderately complex problems with minimal supervision while escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience in industrial production/manufacturing
- Experience in project work and continuous improvement
- Intermediate English
- Knowledge of process safety
- Knowledge of process control
- Knowledge of oil refining/biodiesel production
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow, Green, or Black)
- Advanced English
