About the role
- Designs and develops high quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable and efficient automation
- Leads the application of internal software deployment platform, continuous integration or continuous delivery pipeline and twelve factor development methodology to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases
- Partners with cross functional team of product managers, designers and other engineers to gather complex requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
- Writes and maintains complex unit tests and integration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the quality and performance of the software, applying test driven development as needed
- Recommends options for improving the software development and deployment processes, and implements the approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability
- Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for complex software applications, deployment processes and system configurations
- Provides technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues with deployed applications to ensure minimal downtime and fast resolution
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience
- Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience
- Experience with documentation, mentoring, and collaboration
- Experience with VMware, Windows server, and Active Directory
- Proficient in infrastructure systems and large scale automated deployments
- Ability to travel up to 20% for this position
- Modern methodologies to manage infrastructure inventory experience
- Experience with SQL and proficient in database architectures
- 5+ years experience with configuration management and automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
