About the role
- Provide support for terminal operating functions in employee management, safety procedures, and production operations.
- Act as a leader and influencer to develop an appropriate culture of safe behavior.
- Monitor production results, quantity, and quality to ensure customer requirements and food safety specifications are met.
- Develop operational plans and monitor day-to-day operations for all production processes across multiple departments.
- Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to direct reports.
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for your direct reports.
- Perform the same tasks as members of your team.
Requirements
- Diploma/certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year of directly related work experience
- Experience in health and safety management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to work evening shifts, holidays, and weekends as required by operations
- Bilingual in English and French
- Legally eligible to work for Cargill in Canada
- One year of supervisory experience (preferred)
- Experience managing staff in a unionized environment (preferred)
