About the role
- Lead the completion of routine analytical and laboratory testing of customer samples.
- Receive, prepare, test samples, document results of tests and communicate those results.
- Check and monitor the instruments and equipment used during the testing process.
- Perform routine instrument diagnostics and preventative maintenance activities.
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting and repair as required.
- Conduct complex inspections for sample properties utilizing laboratory equipment and various analytical methods.
- Maintain inventory management for laboratory chemicals, consumables, and samples.
- Provide leadership, coaching, training, and mentoring to team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent.
- Minimum of four years of related work experience.
- PC and MS Office competence.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with email, spreadsheet, presentation and word processing applications.
- Proven experience in production related work.
