About the role
- Sell directly to consumers or business purchasers
- Conduct face to face and remote sales with new and existing customers
- Assist in evaluating customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions
- Cover the territories of Manning, Peace River, and McLennan in Alberta
- Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships
- Conduct market research and pricing, sales and merchandising activities
- Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends
- Protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers
- Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Knowledge of grain and crop inputs sales, operations and products
- Possess a valid, full Canadian Driver’s Licence in good standing
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Diploma/certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
- CCA certification or ability to gain one (preferred)
- Experience using customer relationship management software (preferred)
