About the role

  • Sell directly to consumers or business purchasers
  • Conduct face to face and remote sales with new and existing customers
  • Assist in evaluating customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions
  • Cover the territories of Manning, Peace River, and McLennan in Alberta
  • Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships
  • Conduct market research and pricing, sales and merchandising activities
  • Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends
  • Protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers
  • Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of grain and crop inputs sales, operations and products
  • Possess a valid, full Canadian Driver’s Licence in good standing
  • Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
  • Diploma/certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • CCA certification or ability to gain one (preferred)
  • Experience using customer relationship management software (preferred)
