About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the X-Ray Systems business as a Field Service Engineer
- Manage customer relationships through effective technical knowledge
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites
- Generate service revenue and adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements
- Service laser printers, networks, CR & DR X-ray imaging equipment, and other hospital equipment
- Possible overnight travel and based in home office
- Provide telephone and remote technical support as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging or 4+ years in electronics industry, preferably in field service environment
- Knowledge of computers and networking; PC competency to include utilization of Microsoft Office Suite products
- Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and site drawings with minimal assistance
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that is compliant with Fleet Policy
