About the role
- Perform accounting work assignments such as collecting, recording, classifying, examining, analyzing or reporting accounting transactions using generally accepted accounting principles.
- Perform the closing of legal entity general ledgers and submits accounting results to the corporate consolidation system (BP&C).
- Support the month-end closing process for different entities.
- Perform general accounting.
- Responsible to verify, record and accounting transactions for different entities.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors for both periodic, quarterly and annual audits.
- Apply customer payments (lockbox, ACH, wire transfers, checks) to open invoices accurately and timely.
- Monitor unapplied cash and provide aging reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- English 80% (advanced)
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- Mid level ERP skills (SAP highly desirable)
- Experience with lockbox, wire transfers, ACH, and checks
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)
