About the role
- The Operations Manager will lead and oversee the India Operations function, ensuring seamless execution of processes, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with the Country Head, Product Managers, and Sales Leaders to support and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and Service teams to enable strategic execution.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for sales processes, driving operational excellence from lead to order.
- Lead the monthly forecasting, estimating, and business planning processes, aligning projections with revenue and volume goals.
- Facilitate the Channel recruitment and termination processes in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Provide leadership and direction to the operations team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen, or other relevant methodologies to enhance operational processes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in business, Operations, or a related field;
- Minimum 12 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a sales-driven organization.
- Proven experience with forecasting, business analytics, and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of CRM, ERP (preferably SAP), and performance management tools.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability to anticipate issues, work proactively to address potential problems and design solutions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
