About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide telehealth and virtual care clinical triage assessments, health education, and other services to diverse patient and health plan member populations
Make independent clinical decisions on routine patient care matters at the RN’s license level
Provide patient-focused care and guidance by phone or online
Assess patient needs and deliver or direct patients to the appropriate level of care
Identify potential health problems and influence patients to make better health decisions
Communicate verbally and digitally with organizational clients and team members
Monitor performance using dashboard metrics and identify improvement opportunities
Participate in coaching sessions to improve performance
Document all patient/member interactions using management software

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 years as a Registered Nurse with recent direct patient care experience
Three years preferred in a high-acuity setting such as ICU, CC, ER, med-surg, telemetry, telehealth, or telephonic triage
Must currently reside in one of the listed compact-license states: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming
Must hold a multi-state (compact), unrestricted RN license
Ability to become licensed in additional states as required
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Minimum associate degree from a two-year technical college or technical school, or diploma nursing program
Bachelor's degree preferred
Ability to work full-time, 36–40 hours per week
Schedule includes at least two weekend days every two weeks
100% attendance required
Home office must meet specified certification requirements
Must complete online assessments within 24–48 hours before the exam link expires
