About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including master services agreements, statements of work, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and regulatory and compliance addendums.
  • Manage end-to-end contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and other counterparties from initial redline through execution.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms, legal risks, and negotiation strategy, translating complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to support business objectives and ensure alignment on contractual commitments.
  • Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, and standard fallback positions to promote consistency and efficiency across the contracting function.
  • Support contract lifecycle management including tracking contract milestones and renewals.
  • Identify and escalate legal and compliance issues as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the Bar in a U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, in-house or at a law firm.
  • Experience in the healthcare and/or technology industries strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing and completing commercial negotiations with clients and vendors.
  • Experience negotiating agreements with pharmaceutical manufacturers, health insurance companies, or healthcare providers is a plus.
