About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
- Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
- Welding.
- Maintain a service van and its inventory.
- Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- Technical school graduate preferred.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Welding experience.
- Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
- Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools.
- Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided.
