About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receiving functions, Part put away functions, Order filling, Production support, Shipping Functions.
- Use lift truck to move materials and completed parts to proper locations.
- Work safely on lift trucks in high traffic areas.
- Place and remove loads from the floor, parts trains, and rack locations.
- Conduct daily pre-operational safety checks on lift trucks.
- Use various computer programs and perform basic data entry and periodic lookup of information.
- Perform cycle counts and item counts as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be able to multitask, work in a team environment.
- Read, basic math, remember, reason, analyze, organizational skills, and basic computer skills.
- Will require repetitive motion and lifting items up to 40#’s.
- Must be able to stay stationary/traverse up to 8-10 hrs. per shift.
- Frequently balance, push/pull, bend, kneel, and squat.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in written form with other people.
- Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and safely work in areas of lift truck traffic.
