About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, implement, and measure a global communications strategy that aligns with business objectives and supports commercial growth.
- Lead the creation and execution of communication plans for product launches, marketing campaigns, events, thought leadership initiatives, and corporate announcements.
- Oversee the development of customer success stories, case studies, white papers, technical content, and executive messaging.
- Lead corporate messaging, media relations, public relations, and reputation management initiatives worldwide.
- Build strong relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders to expand brand visibility and positive coverage.
- Develop and execute crisis communication strategies and messaging.
- Direct internal communications strategies that reinforce our culture, values, and strategic priorities.
- Support leadership communications, organizational change initiatives, and executive engagement efforts.
- Partner closely with leadership teams to strengthen transparency, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead the company's global social media strategy and ensure content aligns with brand standards and business objectives.
- Oversee social media platforms, content deployment, and audience engagement initiatives.
- Leverage social media analytics to continuously improve performance and engagement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Media Relations, along with at least 8 years of related experience.
- Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
- Frequent travel (6-20%)
- Valid Passport
- Five years’ experience in the Material Handling or a similar capital equipment industry
- Ten years managing people and five years managing a Marketing Communications department
- Experience successfully building, coaching, and motivating high-performance teams while holding employees accountable
- Excellent communicator with ability to influence across all levels and functional areas
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues
- International experience
