About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and supervise Equipment Services personnel, including workload planning, project coordination, training, coaching, and performance management to ensure efficient maintenance operations and employee development.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs in partnership with maintenance planning and reliability teams to maximize equipment uptime and performance.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company safety policies, identifying hazards, and addressing unsafe conditions and behaviors.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating maintenance processes, repair methods, and equipment service practices while implementing enhancements that improve efficiency and reliability.
- Manage key administrative functions, including work order systems, spare parts inventory control, payroll approvals, department expense tracking, and employee documentation.
- Support talent management activities including hiring, performance evaluations, goal setting, wage reviews, succession planning, and employee growth and development initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-7 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Occasional travel and overnight stays (0-5%)
- Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business > 20% per week (more than 8 hours) and an MVR is required
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance (Preferred)
- Basic computer knowledge and good oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational and interpersonal communication skills with a commonsense approach.
